Updates to These Terms

The MedCommons may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any updates will be posted within the platform, and continued use of the community after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Community Conduct

The MedCommons Circle is built on mutual respect and genuine support. Any behavior that disrupts the community, including unsupportive actions, harassment, bullying, or other harmful conduct, will not be tolerated. Members who violate these standards may receive warnings or be removed from the community to protect the well-being of others.

Physician Recruiting and Healthcare Discussions

To maintain the focus and integrity of this community, physician recruiting is strictly prohibited. Additionally, negative commentary about any healthcare system or employer is not allowed. We encourage constructive, respectful, and supportive dialogue at all times.

Verification and Security

To help maintain trust and safety, we require members to provide a healthcare system code and their partner’s National Provider Identifier (NPI) number. This information is verified against the national NPI database as part of our member eligibility process.

While this verification step helps ensure authenticity, it is not foolproof and cannot prevent all unauthorized access or misuse. The MedCommons Circle is not liable for issues arising from incorrect or fraudulent information submitted during registration. Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for any activity under their account.

Eligibility

Membership in The MedCommons Circle is limited to physicians or their spouse/partner who meet eligibility criteria as determined by The MedCommons. We reserve the right to deny or revoke membership at our discretion if eligibility cannot be confirmed or maintained.

Off-Platform Interactions

The MedCommons Circle provides opportunities for connection and friendship among physician families. However, any relationships, agreements, or interactions that occur outside the platform are solely the responsibility of the individuals involved.

The MedCommons Circle does not endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for any personal relationships, financial transactions, or other dealings that occur off-platform. Members are encouraged to use good judgment and caution when connecting with others. We strongly discourage any behavior that could harm others, including scams, fraud, or inappropriate relationships. The MedCommons Circle is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from off-platform interactions.

Privacy

Your privacy matters. We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using The MedCommons Circle, you consent to this data collection and usage as described therein.

We value your trust and take your privacy seriously. The information you share helps us verify membership and keep The MedCommons Circle a safe, supportive space for physician families.

We never sell your data, and we only use your information to manage your account, improve your experience, and maintain community integrity.

Refunds

All purchases or payments related to The MedCommons Circle are final. Refunds may be issued at the sole discretion of The MedCommons.

Intellectual Property

Members retain ownership of the content they share but grant The MedCommons Circle a limited license to display that content within the community for engagement and operational purposes. Members are responsible for ensuring that any content they post does not infringe on the rights of others.

Termination of Access

The MedCommons reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to The MedCommons Circle at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise deemed harmful to the community.
